Immigration Health Surcharge Increase Date Confirmed

The Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS) increase previously announced will be effective from 6th February 2024.

To beat the IHS price increases, we urge individuals to complete their applications no later than 5th February 2024 to utilise the lower fees currently in place until then.

What does this mean?

For most applicants, this means an increase from £624 to £1,035 per year, with children, students and their dependents seeing an increase from £470 to £776.

With the order now being approved by both Houses of Parliament, this will come into force on 6th February 2024.

Who does this affect?

If you’re in the UK or planning to move to the UK soon, this may have a huge impact on your application.

It affects many applications both personally and under the Skilled Worker route (with exceptions only for workers under Health and Care Visas).

What should you do?
