The Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner’s new Code of Standards has now been published, due to come into effect on 1st September 2024.
This code sets the standards of conduct that regulated advisers and organisations must meet to retain certification with the OISC.
The new OISC code will include nine core principles that will underpin all actions carried out by regulated advisers and organisations:
Failure to meet a code requirement may result in the OISC taking action to maintain a high standard of quality across advice and services within the immigration sector.
OISC regulation is a way to promote best practices and standards across the immigration industry, ensuring that regulated advisers and organisations uphold these in the services they provide.
OISC-registered organisations must meet and exceed multiple standards to ensure the level of information and support they provide is current, legal and relevant for each individual they work with.
The OISC regulates advisers and organisations who provide immigration advice and/or services in the UK.
Five Star is proud to be registered with the OISC.
